Henrik Kjell ("we", "us", or "our") operates the SolarValue mobile application (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service and the choices you have associated with that data.

## 1. Information Collection and Use

SolarValue is designed to respect your privacy. We do not collect, store, or share any personal identifying information on our own servers. All data required for the app to function is stored locally on your device or sent directly to third-party services as described below.

### Types of Data Collected

#### User-Provided Data
To use the solar monitoring features, you may be asked to provide:
*   **SolarEdge Site ID**
*   **SolarEdge API Key**

This information is stored **locally on your device** using Android SharedPreferences and is used solely to authenticate requests to the SolarEdge API. We never see or store this information on our own servers.

#### Local Data Caching
The app uses a local database (Room) to cache:
*   Electricity price data
*   Solar production data

This caching is done to improve performance and reduce data usage. This data stays on your device.

## 2. Third-Party Services

The app interacts with the following third-party services to provide its functionality:

### SolarEdge API
The app sends your Site ID and API Key directly to SolarEdge servers to retrieve your solar production data. Use of this data is governed by [SolarEdge's Privacy Policy](https://www.solaredge.com/privacy-policy).

### Electricity Price Service
The app retrieves spot prices from Nord Pool. These prices are provided via Beneficial Apps AS. No personal data or device identifiers are sent to this service; the app only requests prices for specific dates and regions.

### Glide (Image Loading)
The app uses Glide to display attribution images. Glide may temporarily cache images on your device.

## 3. Permissions

The app requires the following permissions to function:
*   **Internet Access**: To fetch electricity prices and solar production data.
*   **Receive Boot Completed**: To allow the Home Screen Widget to resume updates after a device restart.

## 4. Security of Data

The security of your data is important to us. We rely on the standard security features of the Android operating system to protect the data stored locally on your device. Please be aware that no method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
